Homework is ‘Haven for Hope’ according to Dawn Newspaper
We are delighted to announce that Homework was featured in the Sunday Special EOS of Dawn Newspaper. Ahmed Yousuf, a Senior Journalist at Dawn, visited Homework after watching a video of the Graphic Design for Deaf Course. He found the idea of Homework to offer opportunities to homemakers, students, employed and the differently-abled intriguing and extremely unique and covered a featured story on Homework.
Yousuf, visited the space a couple of times, interviewed our CEO Dr Nousheen Zakaria, instructors, employees as well as students of Homework. The article published in Dawn is a testimony that Homework is offering a unique platform to freelancers. Homework not only offers jobs and projects to freelancers but is also engaged in offering courses to help individuals gain the right skills to work as a freelancer. We spoke to Dr Nousheen Zakaria on her thoughts on being featured by Dawn:
“We are greatly delighted to have been featured in Dawn! It feels absolutely wonderful to be acknowledged for our efforts. Pakistan currently ranks 4th in the freelancing world, yet people are not aware of working in the international market and finding jobs online. There is also uncertainty and lack of confidence in working on third-party platforms. Dawn’s article will hopefully help people find more confidence in freelancing. Also, we hope that differently-abled people are able to take to our courses and learn new skills and start earning from home and at their own pace. We hope to offer more job and learning opportunities to those who really need it.”
